As a youngster I enjoyed all sports. Physical Education was my favorite activity in school. Because of my enthusiasm for virtually every sport and because I was naturally competitive, often I was asked by teachers and coaches to be a captain as we would choose up teams. Usually we would fl ip a coin to see which captain would choose fi rst. I always hoped I would win the toss so that I could choose the very best player with the first pick.

Welcome to the official web site for the Oklahoma State Association of Free Will Baptists. Thank you for visiting with us online today. We trust that you will find the site helpful and easy to navigate. It is our sincere hope that this site will aid in the communication of important information and that it will be used of God to help us in our endeavor to impact our world for Christ. The Oklahoma State Association of Free Will Baptists is a non-profit organization. Its purpose is unify the work of the various bodies composing this State Association, and to devise and execute measures for the extension of the Kingdom of God in connection with the various bodies in the State Association. The State Association is made up of 24 District Associations representing 227 churches. This past year contributions totaling over 2 million dollars came through the state office and were distributed to a variety of Free Will Baptist ministries. From its organization in 1908, the Oklahoma State Association has worked to promote Evangelism, Christian Education, missionary enterprise, and benevolent work. Compelling Stories About “Walk Around The World”An email from Renee at Countryside FWBC in Velma, OK. “Dear Brad, things are well with Countryside Free Will Baptist since we participated in your “Walk Around the World” event a few weeks ago! This project was so great for our church because it allowed everyone to work together to accomplish the goal you set for all the churches of having 27 participants with each having a $ 50 sponsor. It took almost our entire congregation to meet that goal. I’m happy to report that God blessed and we did it! Let me share with you some of the highlights from our Walk-A-Th on. We divided the walk into four days and used the school’s track field. There at the track, a youth member read their devotion and lead us in prayer. |
